Overdraft Protection

• Automatic Funds Transfer
  If your Chevron Valley check or electronic item is presented to us for payment, but you have insufficient funds to cover the check or item, the credit union will transfer available funds from your other account(s), according to your wishes. If you have not expressed a preference for potential Automatic Funds Transfers, the credit union will automatically transfer available funds from your savings account to cover a non-sufficient-funds item. • Overdraft Line of Credit
  For credit-qualified members who complete an application, the credit union may approve a line of credit that is accessed when your non-sufficient funds item is presented for payment. Members pay the prevailing interest rate on the Line of Credit until the loan is paid off. There is no pre-set time limit on paying back your Line of Credit balance. It's strictly up to you! Credit will be extended up to your approved limit. Line of Credit terms and interest rates are outlined in the appropriate application and disclosures.
